Day 332 - Project 365/2013

This picture makes me very very happy!  The boys with the girls the Lord gifted our family with!  So fun to be together and just have time to talk and hang out!

Day 331 - Project 365/2013

So fun that the Youngbloods had time to stop in on their way to Atlanta for Thanksgiving!!  We left just a couple of hours later for Southaven and had a great, uneventful road trip! So good to be reunited with all of the kids and grandkids at Joe & Ingrid's!  I am in 7th Heaven - all my kids and grandkids together under one roof!

Day 330 - Project 365/2013

I had forgotten about the Nativity Set I bought in Guatemala this past January until I was going through my Christmas decorations - perfect size for the GTCA lamp table! My favorite clay Nativity is on my other side - surrounded by Jesus :-)

Day 328 - Project 365/2013

I just love this day at New City!  I love marching down to the front of church with the rest of the congregation delivering our food offerings while we're singing and I love packing the boxes afterwards with friends that we don't get to see very often! I really love my church and my church family!

Day 327 - Project 365/2013

Fun morning of getting out some of  my favorite Christmas things! We have a few gatherings here this holiday season so it will be fun to have the house decked out!

Day 326 - Project 365/2013

This much beauty in one stop at the downtown Post Office ~ it made me late for work...........

Day 325 - Project 365/2013

Great night out with my friend, Mary Lauren, at a CD launch and benefit concert to provide funding for Arts programs in under resourced schools in Chatt.  Our friend's son, Ralston, was very instrumental in this program! A huge variety of music was presented, an art display in the lobby, goodies and coffee from Rembrandts and great company - such a gift of a night!

Day 324 - Project 365/2013

Working so much lately......long days filled with phone calls and numbers....I listened to my heart and followed it down to Coolidge after work to wander about the beauty that is always there waiting for me. It has been an exceptionally amazing Autumn! Lots of color still abounds!

Day 323 - Project 365/2013

Even as I type I hear hammers hammering, boards being thrown, footsteps.....and all of that makes me sooooooo happy!  I seriously can't even remember the year this home improvement project was started but it's going to be completed in just a few days! How awesome is that! Merry Christmas to us!!  I've missed spending time out there - it's such a huge, beautiful space!  The view is amazing in the fall and winter and protected and private in the spring and summer! YAY!!!!!!!!!

Day 322 - Project 365/2013

My heart is often drawn to the old Catholic cemetery near our house.  I love how it looks in the different seasons and today I gave myself the gift of heading up that long winding driveway on the way home from work to spend a little while in the quiet, among the silent stories. I felt my mama's presence....she's the one who gave me an appreciation for old cemeteries, among other wonderful, random things.  I am my mama's daughter in so many ways and so is Nancy ~ we've each gotten some of her talents and personality traits. I sure do miss her. I sure do.

Day 320 - Project 365/2013

Christmas comes early this year - Thanksmas in Mississippi is only 12 days away!  I did a bunch of shopping and wrapping today!  The tree is up but not decorated.  My house is 1/2 Fall and 1/2 Christmasy decorated :-)  Can't wait to have my precious family all together under one roof!

Day 319 - Project 365/2013

After weeks of preparation Fall Weekend 2013 is underway!  Biggest group we've ever taken to STC!  Sign in at the buses went so well - I had great help!  Praying all weekend that may kids will surrender to the One who died to save them!

Day 317 - Project 365/2013

Long day at the office with some crazy twists and turns but lots of good gifts sprinkled in throughout the day! Between my friend Cody and I we managed to make the office look and smell Christmassy and made some delicious food to feed the foofers.  I am not lying when I say my relationships with these volunteers leaders is what keeps me going in this job.  They really are awesome young adults and I love them very much!

Day 316 - Project 365/2013

I've taken over writing the monthly E-Newsletter for work and that's been challenging and fun!  I love to have a great picture to go with an article so after asking Sandy to write an article about being a team mom to the Red Bank team I invited myself over for their team meeting this morning which always includes a delicious home cooked breakfast!  So fun to watch the dynamics of this amazing group of young adults as they plan for camp this weekend and other future activities!

Day 313 - Project 365/2013

Definitely Picture of the Day!  Such a fun day of sleeping in, going to Shelby Farms, painting the awning, eating out with Ingrid's family, just being together!  So thankful for the Lord's goodness and provision!

Day 315 - Project 365/2013

So blessed by this Young Life team!  We are their team parents and feed them every Monday night before team meeting, but this week, knowing how crazy busy I am at work they combined forces and brought dinner to our house! Delicious spaghetti dinner served by these sweet kids!

Day 314 - Project 365/2013

Papa went in to wake up the munchkin this morning and found her all scrunched up in the corner of her crib:-)  Such a sweet weekend! Hard to say goodbye but glad to know we'll be back for Thanksgiving with the rest of our family for Thanksmas!!  Ing and I did some planning for it - can't wait!
