Day 180

So sweet and such a big deal for Crew to get to push the lawnmower a few times around the front yard with one of his favorite men.  After work today we went to Warner Park to swim, stopped at Linda's Produce for a few things, had dinner on the deck, mowed the lawn, read 2 chapters of the BFG and had sweet cuddle time with the kids individually at bedtime.

Day 179

Yum Sissy Burrito for So and I at the Market !  After lunch Mark took off for home and Chattagrandma Camp 2015 officially launched :-)

Day 177

Loving this book the second time through even more than the first time! Love her writing!

This kitty is becoming a frequent visitor :-)  I had lunch with Jess Sanders today - we met at Rembrandts like we did when she was a leader here!  Good friend and good food!

Look who came home today!!!!!!

Day 176

Beautiful service for Cha's dad this morning including a wonderful, God glorifying tribute given by our dear, young friend......90% of the service was spoken in Korean but grief is a common language.....all this happening even as my amazing DIL was flying through the skies to her homeland to spend 2 weeks.........so much to process this week......

Day 175

Baby D is doing so much better today and Sherri might get to hold her yet tonight and she might be able to go home by Saturday!  Every time I go to see her she has less wires and other paraphenalia coming out of her little cute body!  Before we went to see her tonight we visited a family who has just lost their husband/dad to a 2 year battle with cancer.......two ends of the spectrum in one night......

Day 174

Baby Destinee is here but is giving us a little pause and cause for extra prayer by having to spend some time in the NICU .  But she's already making good progress with her breathing issues!  Sherri sent me a picture tonight and the CPAP mask is off from her face. Sherri hasn't even been able to hold her yet :-(  What a sweet moment that will be!  Welcome sweet little girl!

Day 173

Love the sight of wild blackberries ripening!  Just in time for Crew & So to snatch them up!

Day 172

Sweet Father's Day with all the boys contacting their dad !  At night we had Sherri and the boys over and several other friends for burgers served with lots of laughter and love!  Baby Destinee arrives Tuesday - one last get together without the diaper bag :-)  Praying for her safe arrival!

Day 171

Well, very unexpectedly we bought a car on Saturday :-)  A 2013 RAV4 to be exact at Captial Toyota after we drove in the car lot to "just look"!  We love it and pray it's a great car for us!  We took it for spin up to the Cookie Jar!  So fun to drive!

Slide the City happened Saturday and I had my suit along but all of a sudden we were spending 3 hours buying a car instead of all the other stuff we were planning on doing :-)

Day 170

Beautiful, dramatic sky outside of Lowes tonight where we bought 3 beautiful Hibiscus plants on clearance!  We planted them in the back of our house behind our bedroom.  And I had some very special love show up in the Court's mailbox today!  Up late tonight processing the event in Charleston.....

Day 169

I have loved working in the gardens this week right after D.A. leaves for work,  the relatively cool part of these hot June days!  Enjoying this little bike sculpture that I got on super Clearance at Kohls last year!  We're trying to keep everything hydrated ~ we sure need a downpour!

Day 168

I took the picture above and saved the picture below.....9 African Americans were killed in cold blood by a 21 year old white man who sat with church members for Bible study for an hour and then proceeded to open fire on them.....the country is reeling.....New City is reeling......much grace and forgiveness is being shown by the survivors of those killed towards the shooter during his hearing on Friday (I'm editing this on Friday night).  What do I do? Pray and love my brothers and sisters of all colors.....Lord, help us!  Lord Jesus, come quickly!
