Sweet Santa Dale did his yearly lament that we are never going to fit everything in the trunk but as always he did..........good thing I married a spatially gifted guy :-)

What a fun day start to finish! Yum breakfast with my book club buds this morning followed by A.V.'s advent devotional for the day!  I shared my cassette tape of "A Cup of Christmas Tea" with my friends.....mom and I just loved listening to that!  Then we shared gifts and the gifts were so thoughtful because we all know each other so well and love each other so much!

I had some time in the afternoon, while D.A. and his BFF went fishing, to catch up on wrapping!  Watched "Persuasion" to help pass the time and had a Facetime call from Sohee!! 

In the evening Sherri, the boys, and Zy Zy came over for dinner and games - so much fun!

Love love love my super cheap Walmart Sherpa lined slippers! I am sad to get out of them in the morning and I leave them in the entry way so I can put them on as soon as I get home at night :-)

Love these two ladies sooooo much! We had a great time caroling at Rena's place again this year!  She advertised that we were coming so we had more people than ever come out of their apartment to listen and sing along - lots of good cheer!  Fun feast afterwards with lots of laughter and conversation! One of my favorite nights of the Christmas season every year!

Time for a great walk on the Bridge tonight ~ fun to see the Great Dane was decorated for Xmas!

Heavy frost on the leaves made me a little late for work.......sunrises, cardinals at the feeder, and fog have also been culprits.......

Great concert last night with D.A.......we have heard Christmas music in such a variety of ways this year from the Rouche Chorale to Dollywood to Dickens Caroler to the New City choir and last night Southern Gospel.....I did have to chuckle when Dale pointed out that they had to explain what a hashtag was on this slide at the intermission :-)

Oops!!!  Took a picture on Thursday but didn't post and my day numbers got mixed up :-) Back on track!  This Candlelight Service is truly my favorite Christmas service of the year now! Lovely!

Our bare tree finally got dressed last night! I was able to leave work at 2 PM and that's a first in like the whole semester!!!!  So I had time to grocery shop, walk, cook a real dinner, and show D.A. which red and green boxes needed to come upstairs for decorating.....so grateful for TIME!!!!

Who's more fun than my spunky Anne friend?! Such a great great night of hearing Ann V., Ellie H. and a new favorite Amena B. with some of  my dearest friends in the world! Fun little road trip to the ATL and an evening that focused our hearts and minds on Advent!
