So many special moments! It was the first retreat where I wasn't responsible for the cooking so I had time to really spend time with God and girls!! And I did :-)  He speaks so clearly and sweetly thru His Creation!  Can't stop praising Him enough for this very special weekend!

Many favorite moments and pics from Saturday of the Retreat but I especially loved seeing Abby sitting at the table worshiping thru creating her beautiful God glorifying art! So perfect!

I ran into Rembrandts to get a few things for the Women's Retreat and noticed that the Carolina Jasmine was blooming in the Courtyard! Sooooo pretty and another sign of Spring!!

Happy Happy News today that my mammogram was free and clear of cancer!  Came home to a mysterious lumpy package in the mail from my dear Kinsey!!  Touched my heart to the very core!

Great weekend with these two! Fun tradition of having these snowbirds rest in our nest on their way home to MI from FL!

Love love love these handmade mugs thrown by the humble, talented Claire! We had small group at their cozy home tonight since Mari S. is still ill.  Greyfriar cleared out during Bible Study but came back as soon as we cleared out.

Such a fun time with ML and the girls!  The Littles first time bowling and they did great!  Dinner at CFA afterwards with a little time in the playground!  This is still my heart!

I didn't spend much time thinking about the President's today but I sure did enjoy the day off!

Day 45

Happy Valentines Day 2016 from the Rav4! We climbed into Reta a little earlier than we originally planned because the forecast for our way home looked ominous and we have become very cautious about snowy roads!  Sweet ride home together and no driving issues. We stopped in Monteagle for lunch at a place I've seen so often but have never stopped at - what a crazy, redneck place! Home early afternoon for a cozy rest of the day on the Court!

Short but sweet visit with our loves in Indianapolis!  So fun to surprise the kiddos and another layer of wonderful memories made for all 6 of us!

File this under big/little things!  I love the relationships I have built around town as I go about my daily business :-)  My sweet friend, Kat, at the post office loves pretty stamps as much as I do and I found this note in my P.O. box alerting me to the fact our long awaited flower stamps were in!

More and more I am convinced that at the end of a lifetime it will be these every day ordinary/extraordinary moments that will be the most precious to remember! And I am determined not to miss recording them.....sweet words from Mama's Bible today and pure treasure....and speaking of treasures we spent some sweet time with C & C and stopped by to see Anne's house on the way to dinner!  It was a day of great JOY for so many reasons!
