Day 247 - Project 366

We left Dan & Bre's around 10:15 this morning and had a good trip home. Love this view of the Mississippi River when we cross into MS!  Such a sweet visit except for Bre feeling so lousy :-(  We came home to bedrooms full of suitcases as a couple of YL leaders are living with us for a couple of weeks before they move into their apartment - never a dull moment around here!

On the way to D & B's I found a great, simple recipe for English Muffin Bread. We made it Sunday night and had some with homemade Strawberry Jam this morning for breakfast - so yummy!!

After a wonderful morning service and light lunch we went to Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge - beautiful area!  Having a wonderful time except for our concern for sweet Brea who is dealing with kidney stones:-(

Fun stop at Duck Commander Warehouse and Store - missed a photo op with Phil and Kay by a hair!  Great day with Dan and Bre and Jessica!

Every day D.A. and I are getting closer to being back at full speed on our evening walks!  Did the big square over Walnut St. and back across Market St. Bridge - no wheel chair, no cast, limited amount of limping:-)  I am always so amazed at the body's ability to heal - what a Creator!  Loved this fun window display in one of my very favorite stores in Chatt!!

This very grown up looking little girl called today - very excited about her super cute cut!!

Day 241 - Project 366

Tired but thankful tonight after a successful  2nd Annual Clay Shoot! It went great!!  Lots of folks came out to shoot and our volunteers were awesome! Not a drop of rain, yum lunch from Carabbas, just a fabulous day all the way around!  We learned alot last year and this one was much smoother!  Today's POD is a few of our leader volunteers for the day!  They stood out in the woods a long time - so grateful for their great attitude!!
