Day 347 - Project 365/2013

Love this very Southern Merry Christmas Wreath on the Book Company's window!  D.A. and I went to hear the Rouche' group again tonight along with Mary Lauren & Zachary and then out to City Cafe for dinner - no dessert after their huge portions but the dessert case is picture worthy!

Day 346 - Project 365/2013

A new Christmas in Chatt is born!  Our friends, Dodd & Kelley, told me about this wonderful concert Dodd sings in every year and I went with my book club girlfriends! It was just amazing music, Scripture read in a variety of accents, and in a beautiful Catholic church built in 1890. The choir came in singing and when I closed my eyes it truly must have been what Heaven will sound like!  This picture is from outside the church on the lawn - waiting for the Christ Child. I am really loving Advent this year - Ann V.'s book and Carolann's gift and now this Candlelight service are waking up my expectant heart!  Grateful, grateful!

Day 343 - Project 365/2013

So good to get a walk on the Bridge in after work with D.A.! Between working so many hours, being gone, and yucky weather, we haven't walked in ages!  Felt wonderful to move our bones!  Pretty night out too with dramatic clouds! This is such a pretty city and this view never gets old!

Day 342 - Project 365/2013

Adding to mom's angel ornament collection every year......putting each one on the tree is a special reminder of her.  Sometimes when I'm sad and I'm having trouble pinpointing exactly why, I realize it's this....I miss my mom. I miss my mom.
