Lunch with my Laura friend after her uber long staff meeting....at Rembrandts....one of our all time favorite places ever! 

I came home to this guy checking me out from my deck - we never ever have mice in our house :-)

Day 216

I haven't had one of those "it's 10 pm and I haven't taken a picture" kind of days in awhile....but it happened tonight.....better late than never....better something than nothing.....and so I present....the Dutch shrine :-)

Day 215

Sherri came over to do her laundry which gave us a good long time to visit....as the afternoon sun set in the GTCA the lines of the mini-blinds covered her face....it was such a striking sight it was distracting to me while I was trying to listen so I finally asked her if I could take her picture....she complied....I love this woman who is chasing hard after God even as so many voices from the other side are calling after her to give up on her pursuit of Him.....

Day 214

Wonderfully quiet weekend - time to get the house and yard caught up and back in shape! D.A. mowed the whole lawn and I weeded the flowerbeds right before a nice little shower came thru!

Day 213

This was on my bucket list and we went last night! It was really fun!  We left for Crossville in the afternoon and stopped at the World's Largest Treehouse on the way (shut down now by the fire marshall), had a picnic by a beautiful lake and then went to this musical - a musical even D.A. could appreciate :-)

I still feel a little disloyal to Clumpies when I go here but it's such a great location and very yum!

I always forget that the butterflies don't come until later in the summer! But they're here now!!!  I just love coming home in the afternoon, after a long day at work, to this kind of beauty! It truly gives me a greatful heart :-)
