One of the things we did while we were in MI was tour our brother in law's greenhouses where he grows a bunch of flowers and a few vegetables including the above Salad Bowl! So fun! It's a planter full of edible greens that will keep growing as long as you keep picking! Fresh salad ingredients right outside our kitchen door - that's all right! Besides two different kinds of lettuce there's spinach, parsley, basil, and sweet little purple violas!
