Made a pie last night from the blueberries Kaley and I picked. I even made homemade crust using her recipe and it turned out great! Store made crusts are easy but I think their flavor sometimes overpowers the flavor of the fruit. And it didn't take me that much longer to mix and roll it out. She adds a fun "secret" ingredient to her crust recipe that I am going to share here if you promise not to tell anyone - CINNAMON - shhhhhhh!!
We mixed up a batch of homemade vanilla ice cream to top this delicious pie - the look on D.A.'s face was pretty close to pure bliss while eating this combination :-)
