Had a great evening with our friends the Bridgers! Love this couple! Kris is my friend who always brings the Mary Oliver quote to mind..."She spent her life married to amazement." This describes her perfectly!
After a yum dinner here we planned to go to the Grand Re-Opening of the Red Clay Pickin Barn but when we got there it was not re-opened! So we kept driving and went to Red Clay State Park which made the married to amazement lady very excited since she's always wanted to check out this area and park which has great significance in the history of the Cherokees. We walked around till the park ranger kicked us out. We hope to go back again some day when we have more time.
